FRIENDS of Eagle Nest Lake and Cimarron Canyon State Parks is a group of volunteers assisting with events/activities that enhance and promote Park use at Eagle Nest Lake and Cimarron Canyon State Parks. Membership is open to individuals and groups (families, businesses, private and nonprofit organizations) who are interested in pursuing the purpose of FRIENDS and are committed to FRIENDS' activities and volunteer opportunities.

Active Member

Active Membership 

(voting member) requires commitment to volunteer on behalf of FRIENDS along with:  

a) completion of a Friends Membership/ Volunteer Agreement, and

b) Annual Membership Fee of $30 payable to Friends of Eagle Nest Lake and Cimarron Canyon State Parks, and mailed to PO Box 3, 

Eagle Nest, NM 87718.

Membership has voting rights and includes a Day Use Permit for the two State Parks.

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW MEXICO

ENERGY, MINERALS AND NATURAL RESOURCES DEPT.

Volunteering is important to FRIENDS. If you give your time to support events or special
projects, please send your volunteer hours to our Membership Coordinator, Barb Berry,
through the email address below. Please include the event/project name, date, park
associated with the event (Eagle Nest Lake or Cimarron Canyon), and hours worked.


Also, you can submit your volunteers hours at the monthly FRIENDS meetings.
